Plant at the Hendry House and Mulch at LaBelle Nature Park

 

The Hendry/LaBelle Recreation Board, Coalition for Eco-Recreation and Riverwatch invite community organizations, youth groups, and individuals to help plant native plants at the Hendry House or spread oak mulch on trails at LaBelle Nature Park Park on Saturday, August 11, from 8am to 10am.  

 

The Recreation Board will provide trash bags and some tools for the event.  Hats, gloves, long pants, sturdy shoes and insect repellant are recommended.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own rakes, wheel barrows, and shovels.  Water will be provided for participants. 

 

The Coalition for Eco-Recreation will meet at 10:30 a.m. after the “Plant and Mulch” at 380 Riverview Drive (corner of Frasier and Riverview Drive) at 10;30  a.m. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Bring your own sandwich.
